Zoomarine is an entertainment park where you can watch animal and entertainment shows, enjoy the artificial beach, visit wildlife exhibitions, learn about marine life or even swim with dolphins. All you could ever need for an action-packed family getaway.
The Zoomarine beach has all the fun of a beach and more, with a wave pool surrounded by white sand, water slides, swimming pools and an aquatic playground.
In the Pirate’s Bay you can watch an acrobatic pirates showing off their stuff, while the Era T-Rex is an interactive dinosaur expedition, where you go on an educational journey into a forest of dinosaurs, aided by visual and sound effects.
There’s a 4D cinema that shows a film depicting a sea turtle’s journey and the challenges it faces in the ocean. But if you fancy something a little more authentic, Zoomarine has several live animal shows featuring real-life dolphins, seals, sea lions, tropical birds and also birds of prey.
The shows focus on animal performances, as well as personal interactions between the animals and their trainers. The goals of these shows are to create awareness around the plight of these creatures in the wild and also to create funds to support animal protection. Make sure you stop off at the Aquarium and Exhibition Centre where you can learn about the scientific and conservation projects supported by Zoomarine.
An always popular activity with travellers, Zoomarine gives you the chance to get up close and personal with the dolphins. During the “Swimming with Dolphins” experience, participants spend about 30 minutes in the water where they can meet the dolphins under the supervision of the specialist staff. A truly magical experience that allows you to get a slightly better understanding of these intelligent mammals.
There’re rides at Zoomarine too. Kids can also go round on a carousel or on the Big Wheel with panoramic views of the Park. There’s also a little train that goes around the Park and makes stops at all the big attractions, which is great if their little legs are getting tired.
To really make the most of the park we recommend you do at least one full day. There are also several restaurants where you can enjoy meals, so it really has everything you need. What’s more, the parking area is free. Just don’t forget your swimsuit and towel!
