Averell

We stayed here the night before taking the ferry to Bar Harbor and it was a perfect spot, just a 5 minute drive to the terminal. Old style motel with charm. Check-in was super easy and staff very friendly. Wish we had more time here and would stay here again if in the area. Only downsides were no AC (but a box fan and ceiling fan helped with that) and the bed against the wall so access only from one side or the bottom of the bed. Overall a nice experience.

Very nice stay. Convenient to restaurants, friendly staff, comfortable room. I do wish the bed was not right up against the wall, but it was okay. Breakfast would have been nice to have some protein, but we always had enough to start the day.

Close to the ferry ⛴️, rooms were clean though we didn’t have maid service one of the days and had to go to the office for towels. Little dated and on the edge of town.
