"Phone before booking and ask if pool was available for kid to have a swim told yes don't close until 10 to find out kids cant swim after 7 pm so wasnt happy but the girl jade behind desk was so nice and apologetic and gave us ticket for starbucks for next day drink also late check out so my boy can get a swim ........not like was the lifts were out and the girl behind counter at swimming had bad attitude "

"This was my second time at the hotel. The staff are friendly and the rooms are excellent. If I was to make one complaint, it would be that doors into the rooms are very heavy and are extremely loud when the close. I was woken twice by neighbouring rooms returning. Breakfast is excellent and good service. "

My daughter is in hospital in North Manchester General so i didnt actually spend much time at the hotel, however breakfast and evening meal consumed, the sea bass and king prawn linguine was amazing tho it did need seasoning, breakfast was ok, though i like my black pudding sliced thicker that way its crispy on the outside but still soft in the middle allowing you to actually taste it. Reception not manned 24h so you have to call the receptionist on a mobile number and this wasn't very late at night TBF and he did arrive quite quickly and also became the baramnwhic was handy. The room was very quiet, well equipped it's just the noisy maids and their loud Wigan accents and laughter you have to put up with but not too bad if your NOT wanting a lie in. Over all , great value for money and a very nice hotel in a lovely setting."

Amazing stay at Ribby hall spa hotel.

"We had an amazing spa break at Ribby hall. The room was beautiful. Staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble. Our meal was exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed the aqua journey and would highly recommend it. We'll definitely be back soon for some rest and relaxation. "
