"I booked a budget stay for work and was pleasantly surprised with the standard of the hotel. I had a single room which came with a comfortable single bed, new carpet and had been freshly painted. The fixtures are clearly quite old but looks to have been freshened up and everything worked. The highlight was the (included) breakfast!! The range was huge and the cooked food top notch. The sausages were especially good. The value for money is the best I have had from a hotel in years. Will definitely stay again!"

"Staff refused to add my IHG awards number to the reservation, they claimed that they've never done it and it wasn't available in the reservation. The area is under reconstruccion, so the hotel is very difficult to access, the parking is a real nightmare to find"

It was good then, but has been improved with well appointed rooms and a new conservatory restaurant overlooking the gardens which are alongside the River Rothay. Dinner was excellent and breakfast was of a good standard too. "
