"Carlos, the manager was phenomenal from the second we walked in. And after 14 hours on the road, it was such a relief. Keith and Jane in the kitchen are marvelous, excellent food, always fresh and the breakfast area was kept spotless. Our room was perfect, Monique in room service did a wonderful job. "We wanted to be close to Mount Rushmore and we couldn’t have been closer! There is some interior construction going on on a couple floors BUT that doesn’t affect the rest of the hotel. The clerk who checked us in was friendly and very helpful with recommendations and directions around the rapid city area. The hotel is older but it is clean. The breakfast is the standard hotel with the exception of the eggs, which are real and made scrambles omelette style. My husband and I differ on how the bed...

"A wonderful hotel full of that provided all I needed and more. The little building details, (Tile, elevator, etc.) was a perfect addition. The staff were fantastic. Parking was easy, which is not always true about downtown Rapid City. I would stay again anytime I travel there."
