"The property is absolutely beautiful. The area surrounding it is less than ideal, but that can be said for most hotels near the airport. The staff was very kind and helpful. I needed a cab to the airport at 0400. The front desk ordered the cab for me when I checked in. When I checked out, the agent at the desk gave me the name of my cabbie and even provided change for a $20 so I would have exact change for the driver. I was truly impressed with the service."

"Hotel cancelled my room that was booked as an "extra room". I was sent to a nearby hotel that was about a 1 star rating or less. Don Carmelo was a 1.0 at best. No kitchen. Very old and run down even for Latin America."

The whole team is incredibly friendly and will go out of their way to make your stay pleasant and support with information needed on the town, attractions, travelling etc. The property is beautiful and very clean. Located right in the middle of town it is close to local attractions and some wonderful restaurants. Highly recommended "

"Cute hotel. Very quaint, clean, good breakfast. Good value for the price. We stayed at the casita. Bed was a bit hard and they don’t have colchas just thin bed covers but overall it was ok. What I love the most was that it is very Nicaraguan. "
