Where do I start? Unless you are desperate, never stay here. There were problems with this hotel before I even arrived as there were issues with the check in information. The hotels position was that I was not going to be allowed to check in but that I could not have a refund! After 11/2 hours arguing over the phone with the hotel and Expedia, their position had not changed. Then for no obvious reason I was given the check in codes 10 minutes before check in anyway!
When I checked in I was allocated a code to access room 15. Upon entering the room, somebody was already in the room, a ‘permanent’ resident apparently. I was then given room 4 by a member of staff which was a downgrade on the room I paid for but at no point has anybody offered to refund the price difference. I am not a snob when it comes to hotel rooms but parts of the room were a disgrace. The bedside table was absolutely filthy as was the table and chair, which is probably a week or two away from breaking its so flimsy. The bed wasn’t too bad but creaked and groaned like mad if you moved even an inch. That and I had the pleasure due to the thin walls of having to listen to the room next door watching pornography in the night. An experience I will never be repeating!
