"Overall, my stay at the hotel was good, but there was one major downside that really soured the experience. Shortly after checking in, they offered what seemed like a great deal — a discounted rate if we agreed to attend a timeshare presentation. However, they charged $200 upfront with the promise that it would be refunded after attending. The catch is, if you don’t show up, they keep the $200. What made it even worse was when I went back to the desk to explain that I had a surprise planned for my boyfriend and asked if they could remove him from the timeshare event. I thought it would be an easy fix, but the lady at the desk refused to do anything about it. She was completely unhelpful and showed no flexibility or understanding. It felt like they cared more about pushing the timeshare presentation than about making sure guests actually enjoyed their stay. While the hotel itself was nice, this whole situation left a really bad taste in my mouth. Future guests should definitely be cautious about agreeing to anything tied to the timeshare offers — it’s not as simple or optional as they make it sound."
