"Property was lovely and very traditional with a lovely pool and excellent gardens. There is no lift and we were on the top floor with a very steep staircase, and no offer to help with moving suitcases up or down, this was disappointing given the cost and the luxury the hotel was trying to purvey. Breakfast was included but would recommend getting there early as food is not replenished and choice is quite limited. "

"Disappointing stay. Hotel was run down and very tired. No reception after 1pm until 6pm and then again nothing after 9pm. Photos on the website look like they were taken quite some time ago. "Overall our 4 nights stay was mediocre. The rooms are big but need modernising as the bathrooms are small and very outdated. The location of the hotel for our family wasnt great. The pool is not very clean but would have been great if they use a robot etc to have it cleaned. As per previous reviews Mosquitos are bad, we stayed at 5 other places on our trip and didnt experience the same. No restaurant at all and bar open only until early evening. The cleaning staff are fantastic."
