"The Leela Kovalam is an excellent place to spend your time with family. Very nice location and very excellent ambiance having all five star amenities and infrastructure. The swimming pools are very very relaxing where family can enjoy the water. The private beach is outstanding to chill with seawater and scuba diving. The dinning is also outstanding with fabulous manu. The traditional Kerala dance show in the evening by both dancer was very beautiful. The sky bar gives good vibes during the stay. The restaurant staffs are very very professional. Special thanks to mater chef and his team for preparing nice food. Finally, special thanks to Miss Akansha for the surprise birthday cake and her professionalism, as we were there for my sons birthday. "

"Lovely hotel, excellent staff. Clean, comfortable, modern. Great food, amazing buffets! Nice pool, good spa. There were 2 weddings when we were there which took over the pool area, the first blaring awful loud music! It seems this may be a common thing at this hotel."

"It is a place full of character. Delightful staff (limited English with some did not take away from their kindness and personal care). The building is all traditional Kerala, lots of dark wood, and a very amusing lift playing Tamil music. My balcony faced the fires of coconut palms, with birds occasionally calling out, but the dominant sound was the breakers as the beach is 20 metres down the lane. The room was spacious and comfortable: a bit old fashioned so this is not a modern smart business hotel. It is much better. I really enjoyed my stay. The worst thing was the feeble WiFi. Plenty of storage and the bathroom entirely adequate. Its proximity to the beach, the quieter end, is a bonus. "

"We found the Jasmine Bay restaurant to offer high quality food and exceptional service. Assistant restaurant manager Abhishek was a pleasure to meet and took great care of us as did the cook. The rooms itself are small and dated and charge is high (750$ a night) for quality as compared to equivalent resorts elsewhere which are new and have better comforts for lower prices. The landscaping is excellent and property is safe and the high yea and sunset views are phenomenal. "
