"The owners go out of their way to make you comfortable. They organized our 4 days of sightseeing with a guide. We also rented our car from them which makes it a great place to stay. Would highly recommend and hope to return to their beautiful oasis and Island. "

"In the heart of town. Walkable to anywhere. Commucation with host. Picked and droppe out at airport it’s a must. Perfect for couples, not kids. Stairs to upper room are a bit of a challenge if you have legs and knees problems like me. Bathroom is downstairs. Nice small balcony. An extra drawer chest would be very helpful to storage clothes, we kept ours in luggage all the time. Can’t bet location. Thanks "

"It's the best place to stay if you appreciate the silence and you're looking for a quiet place because is far from the town and very close to Puna Pau and that makes that at night you can see the stars so clearly. The staff is so kind and makes your stance there so enjoyful. The taste of the breakfast is fresh, natural and so delicious and also the proportion is enough. "By mainland standards, this is an unusual property. There is no signage indicating the hotel. The hotel is up a hilly driveway and what looks like the lobby near street level is for a different hotel. "The property was convenient for our stay and was recommended by Viator for our tour pick-up. Front desk staff was very friendly and helped us when we needed a last minute tour guide fill-in. "I love the place. Really tranquil and quiet. The Cabaña was well appointed with a decent sized living area and a small separate kitchen with a table and chairs. Good pressure in the shower. The accommodation is only 10 minutes walk from the Main Street. For the price, it really was a bargain. The host is very friendly and helpful too. Definitely would recommend this place!"

"This was an unforgettable experience and it would not have been the same if we stayed annywhere else. We were met at the airport by María Paz and greeted with leis. She was lovely. gave us a quick tour of the town and then brought us to the Cabana. It’s a short walk into Hanga Roa. It’s all down hill about 15 minutes, but it can feel long in the humidity. There’s little food shops along the way. We rented bikes the first day, then a car from the Henua Iti for the rest of our stay. It was seamless. Having the car is a must. They were also very helpful in getting us set up with a local tour guide. I would highly recommend talking to the team rather than booking online prior to your trip. Hannah & Dylan"

"Excellent place to stay in Easter island. The newest hotel in town n only nine impeccable units w staff to indulge you. Very large comfy rooms and quiet surroundings. Bed so nice to sleep deeply. Breakfast is included n it’s outstanding. The number one choice to stay in my humble opinion. Go for the second floor suite. "

"The staff at Tupa hotel is very helpful and speak excellent English. This is not an island where you find luxury hotels. The facilities are well-worn and basic. Given you accept that, you would do well to book Tupa hotel for the kindness and service. Bed was comfortable. Storage plentiful. Location convenient and they were wonderful about picking me up at the airport and taking me back. On time and efficient. I had an ocean-side room with a sliding door that opened on a mini-patio. One thing you should know is that the cleaning person always left the sliding door open to air out the room. This helps prevent mildew in this tropical climate. So don't leave valuables lying around. This wasn't an issue for me since I don't travel with any valuables other than my passport and money, which I keep with me at all times. One thing I wish I knew before I went was that they can book you tours at the hotel. I booked separately and had an awful experience on the tours. Check with them about tours when you reach out to book. A beautiful island that is still rustic."
