Beautiful Location up in the Hills
We spent two nights at the property. We received a very warm welcome with tea on arrival. We ate the home stay both mornings and evenings and all of the meals were very tasty. The owner, George, booked a fun nail-biting jeep ride to the top of the mountain where we were shown around a tea processing factory. He also helped us with our onward bus journey. The room was basic and the plugs didn't seem to work, however it was comfortable enough for our two night stay. It was a 40 minute auto-rickshaw ride from Munnar to the property, but we think it is doable by bus. We recommend this property to anyone looking for a short stay in the beautiful tea lined hills, away from the hustle and bustle, but be aware that auto-rickshaws and taxis are required to get anywhere of interest.
