"We had stayed at the comfort express previously in Tromso but the room was pretty small so we decided to try a more expensive hotel. Enter Amelia was not a lot more expensive but it was smaller and older than the Comfort Express. They offered parking but then I found out it was $35 night and at another property which should be in the details before you book. Loved the breakfast cake and coffee in the afternoon and the waffles at night. The staff were very helpful and friendly. "

"I loved the hotel overall and its location in Tromso. Unfortunately, there was no electrical outlet near the bed for my Cpap machine and I had to run a cord all across the room to use it. A trip hazard and not comfortable. "

"I came on a solo trip to take part in the PolarNight Half Marathon, so my single room served the purpose. Perhaps consider putting a cupboard in the bathroom area where there is space for it. Apart from that, the staff are very friendly, it was clean, and the breakfast was very good."

"The stay was good for a quick weekend trip. The staff was nice. There are Norwegian waffles available sailing at 5pm. The rooms and beds are a bit small but it was good as we did not plan to stay in. "

"Very easy to get to and check in. We never actually saw a person though we had to follow the instructions on the signs."

"Amazing, highly recommend. Beautiful setting, incredible food, really lovely staff. The room was warm and cosy. We particularly loved using the sauna and jumping in the sea. It was a picture perfect place to see the northern lights. We would highly recommend this stay! "
