"Originally one two the wrong hotel address and was upset because I thought we were left in the cold. Once we were able to confirm our reservation, we were guided to the correct hotel. What an absolutely lovely place to stay. They took great care of us. we had wine and refreshments in the hotel restaurant. The archetecture of this grand place took me back a century or two. "Location is great, right near Mamila mall. Plenty of shopping and dining nearby. Room was clean, and bed was great; nice amenities, too. The room overlooked a construction site, which detracted from our experience. Also, the room needed a paint job - there were places where the paint was chipped off. The lock needed to be lubricated. And the light switches were hard to decipher. Overall, a good experience, but not top-notch - but it was definitely a good value for the price!"

"Really lovely hotel with friendly, welcoming staff. My room was large and comfortable with a fab view across Jerusalem, and the breakfast was amazing! You couldn't ask for a better location, it is surrounded by great places to eat and drink, close to the Old City, easily walkable to most places you'd want to go and close to the light rail. Really appreciate the welcome I was given by everyone at the hotel."

Great value for money

"Very comfortable hotel. Very good value for money. The rooms are spacious, clean and relaxing with plenty cupboard and storage space and excellent bathroom. The hotel is large with plenty space to sit and relax and the breakfast and food is excellent. This is our second stay as we were also there in the summer and would definately go again."

"The hotel is central and well situated where Ben Yehuda meets Jaffa Street with excellent transport links. We found the staff to be very pleasant and very helpful (especially Tamir on reception) and check in/out was straightforward. Our bedroom was clean, good sized and well appointed. There is a warm, decent sized swimming pool in the basement and a small gym (though I must confess to being defeated by the multipurpose exercise machines!) There is a good sized lounge area on the entrance floor and an extensive breakfast available in the rooftop restaurant. There is a drinks bar in the lounge area but I would have preferred that snacks could be made available there also (I think they sometimes are). All in all, our stay here was a very pleasant experience"
