The hosts are lovely and friendly, and the breakfasts are out of this world! Each day a new menu which included a lovely variation of omelets but included home made muesli, a variety of cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit, tea, coffee, orange juice - the works. I absolutely loved my stay here and will sure sure return. ...

"LOVELY stay-the proprietors Tim and Janet are wonderful hosts-we were allowed to check in early, shared an informal happy hour and they gave us a lot of local information and happenings. Janet showed a lot of personal touches to the room and it was great to have our own patio. HIGHLY recommend!"

"This place was great. Pretty, good breakfast, good location. Except it is not handicap accessible. If I had known that there were stepp, irregular, slanted and long steps to front door without even a railing, I would not have booked. Also difficult if you habe heavy luggage. I think the fact that it isn't accessible should be in the description."

"Stayed 3 nights at Annick House. Felt like our house from the start. Just safe, comfortable and convenient. Great hosts with history to Nelson. Fabulous fresh breakfast.Nick helped us tour, walking routes and taxis. Had great beer at his pub! Little Thai takeaway near his house had fresh dinners at reasonable price. Had our first NZ pie at downtown bakery.. too good. Nelson will be hard to beat."
