"Five stars all the way from the staff, our room, and spa treatments. We didn’t dine in the restaurant but did have a drink at the bar. We would absolutely stay at the Rhinebeck location again as it is superior to their Skaneatles hotel which is tired and in need of a refresh."

"We have been coming here for years. #1 Reason is because Michael treats us like VIP'S, ALWAYS !!!! Is the reason we send so many friends and family there. Beautiful pool and jacuzzi, Unbelievable SUITES , View of the mountains, the lake and the trees are amazing. You see this view from everywhere. Yoga classes. Amazing activity room downstairs with pool tables, ping pong tables, lounges and more. GREAT GYM !"

"Super clean, accessible parking right to your door, very cozy and overall great experience! Needed a place to stay for the night as we were coming from NJ to go skiing. Great distance from the mountain and super convenient. The owner was very accommodating and Jack the cat was the star of the show! Not to mention the price was exceptional! 10/10 experience and will definitely stay here again in the future if I’m ever in the area."

"The service was excellent, the room was perfect (the splitter/HVAC units on the ground outside the room were a bit noisy - but not unpleasant at least for me - however for future guests, you may want to consider muffling the sound if possible), immaculate, bed was very comfortable, TV was excellent (theatre-grade), the Exec Chef at the Shandaken is definitely "Michelin-grade", outstanding cuisine, complimentary breakfast menu was fantastic, the entire management/service team was/is "top-notch"....

"I loved this place right away ... It feels like family as soon as you walk in the door... Just so very accommodating with everything. Kelsey was amazing when I checked in, along with the man who checked me out. The breakfast was definitely better than other places I have been too, and the scenery while eating makes it ten times better. My friend and I were even mentioning going there in the spring time again. Thank you for everything !"
