"Mazar is a wonderful Riad. It’s stunning inside, with clean and comfortable beds. The staff is fantastic: warm hospitality, expert recommendations, and delicious breakfast. The Riad is at the edge of the Medina, so it’s close to the windy madness of the shouks but close to taxis and transport to other parts of Fez. Would absolutely stay there again. "

"This hotel was one of the most gorgeous properties I have ever stayed at. It’s hard to overstate how beautiful it was inside the hotel and the rooms. The staff was more than welcoming and remembered us immediately. The food offered by the hotel was phenomenal, really providing a taste of Morocco. They offered to set us up with a licensed tour guide to take us around the Medina. Everything was immaculate and would stay here again! The only downside was the Spa didn’t seem accommodating to booking after arrival "

"2nd time staying here, perfect hotel, clean, quiet, beautiful room, comfortable bed, good food especially Friday special cous cous was delicious just like homemade and Moroccan dessert was also delicious. One negative: not a good experience at the spa- the steam room didn’t work properly, which is the whole point of hammam- you need to spend time in the hot steam room before the scrub for the best results. And when I tried to tell that to the attendant- she wouldn’t even listen and denied that anything was wrong with the steam! That was really upsetting!!!"

One of the highlights of our visit was the exceptional service provided by Said. "Hotel room was a twin room and was absolutely fine. Clean beds, floor, great location with train station and taxi stand. Pool area very relaxing. Plenty of food options for cheap nearby. Check in was simple. Decent price. Would be using it again in future for any trips to Fes. Only small issue would be nice to have few more sockets for electronics but not a big deal at all."
