"Beautiful historic inn if you’re looking to add a little culture and historical flair to your Savannah trip. My daughter and I were only here for one night as we passed through Georgia on a sightseeing road trip and it was convenient. Walkable to a lot of restaurants along the river and to most of downtown. Parking was easy, right around the corner. Staff was pleasant and allowed us a slightly later checkout. The room was absolutely stunning - full of antiques and character plus 25’ ceilings....

"I loved the historic aspect of this hotel. Oldest in Savannah - all refurbished and beautifully appointed. On arrival, the registration clerk, Ebony, had great suggestions for restaurants, shops, provided a map of the historic district AND special attractions discounts. "It is a very good place to stay, especially the location. Very family friendly hotel, my only complaint was, no microwave in the room, but you can heat up your food in the lobby. Also, for some reason the water smells like sulfur. I don't know if that was only in our room or throughout the hotel. Lastly, we loved the courtyard, but the seats was very dirty. "
