"Loved my stay at Basecamp in Tahoe City! The front desk was very helpful and friendly and I loved being able to hangout with a beer a meet some of the other guests staying there. Perfect for people who are into recreation and looking for a community while they are staying in Tahoe."

"We never stay anywhere else. Yes it's pricey,but oh so wonderful. Even with construction going on, it's peaceful and comfortable. When the pool is quiet, take a heavenly swim. Breakfast is fantastic!!"

"We booked a last minute room here as we were snowboarding at Palisades. 15 mins away with no traffic (about 25 in the traffic at 4-5pm). The room had a bedroom with a king bed and a sofa in the main room. It just fit my family of 5, but with 2 teens on the sofa pullout and my 9yo daughter in the king bed with us. Overall, it functioned well enough for a great price. It's next door to Safeway, CVS, and many food options, which was convenient when it snowed heavily and didn't want to drive. The Mountain slice pizza (2 minute walk) was 5 star delicious! And the lake was 5 mins walk away with other fancy restaurants nearby. All in all, the inn was a great find! The front office staff Taylor did a great job checking us in (early!) and helped us with everything we needed. She deserves 5 stars! "
