"This place is a gem! I can't believe how spacious the room was. We travel with two kids so having extra space makes such a difference and so rare to find in New York city. "I love the hotel, but I think they need to review their long term maintenance procedures. The ancient heating unit in my room would turn off once a day (I was there 3 nights). Staff was helpful and showed me how to reboot it, but I don't think anyone documented my problem. Also the bathroom was spotless, but the inside of the bathroom door really needed a paint job. Great hotel just needs some TLC"

"Small, clean, efficient place to stay convenient to midtown manhattan. It is loud but what else would you expect in midtown manhattan. The location feels very safe and despite the name of the hotel, rooms are private and there is even a lounge area with water, tea and coffee in the morning. Great for the price. "
