"Excellent hotel, very spacious room. Having the train station so close was a major pro. If you are visiting Amsterdam for the first time, this is a great hotel. Not in the city centre so not super busy but a 2 minute walk to excellent public transport. Also massive plus having laundry facilities. "

"Amazing hotel! We booked a deluxe room and the room was huge, super comfy king sized bed with the best pillows! The shower was nice and powerful, good sized bathroom, hair dryer. There was a UK socket in the room and some USB sockets. We stayed here for Amsterdam, the train station is literally 4 min walk away and the train into Amsterdam takes 15 mins! It’s so convenient. We had to pay city tax when we checked in, lovely reception area and friendly staff! "

"Booked all inclusive with breakfast and parking at a very reasonable price for 5 nights. Staff were fantastic and very welcoming and helpful, the room was clean and spacious with all necessities. The hotel is less than a minute walk from the station which only takes 5 mins to Amsterdam Centraal. Very happy with our stay and it felt safe and convenient coming back after each night out. " It was located directly across the street from the amazing central train station, which only cost us ~$30E round trip to/from the airport. The view from our canal facing room was absolutely stunning at night, the service from the front desk and concierge was impeccable and everything we wanted to see was within safe walking distance. Even with the construction, it was extremely quiet."

Loved the stay !

"It’s was such a great stay in Kimpton de Witt The hotel is in a great location close to all the main transport links in and out of Amsterdam We didn’t book breakfast in advance but we did eat in the open buffet twice (30€pp) which was lovely and fresh The only things that bother me in the room was that there is no enough light for hair and makeup. The room is quite dark , specially where there’s no light from the outside in the winter 😓 Overall , highly recommend!!"

"Beautiful hotel, great staff, clean rooms, excellent breakfast and perfect location. For those that want a small town feel…Amsterdam is NOT the place to be. It’s a major city with traffic, noise, trash, construction and people having fun all night. But the Dikker is situated to take it all in…close to the Museum district, great food and shopping and perfect access to the canal boats or strolling up to the Jordan district. The room we had was very clean, the bed very comfortable and a great bathroom. The Staff were amazingly attentive and had advise on anything you wanted to do. Would stay there again in a heart beat. "

"the rooms were very modern with lights being controlled from an ipad and a very nice design and clean!! each floor had a mini communal kitchen and lounging area which was very nice and a mini fridge inside room. would definitely recommend staying here. a downside is the hotel is about a 20/25 min drive from the main city centre. they allowed us to check in at 12 for free and a €15 euro for a late checkout till 1pm "
