Excellent fine and so easily accessible to the area
ldeal for visiting Beamish Museum only 4 mins by car from property ,Clean and very Spacious beautiful views from the back of property ,very handy for visiting many parts of Northumberland . It is a ground floor apartment but if you have any walking issues,my husband uses a walking stick ,there are 8 steps down to the apartment which we didn't no ,but it wouldn't stop us returning .Andy the host was excellent and also a very kind neighbour above us .Would recommend to friends thank you .

Quiet and lovely
Lovely apartment that was clean and well equipped. Convenient for our needs and host was very communicative. Had a lovely couple of nights. The double bed is huge but it is tight to pass the foot of the bed as it is so close to the wall ( a bit nit-picking but with a bad hip I mention it in case someone has mobility issues). Also take note that the apartment is accessed via steps on the outside. Overall a fantastic unit and would definitely recommend it and plan to stay again.

Ok for summer let
Flat was convenient for us and quite nice . The host was very nice and helpful . We had a bit of trouble with the heating . Only on for certain hours and it was a very cold time of the year
The double bed was awful and needs replacing . 2 single mattresses on a base too big for the room . The oven didn’t work but the hob did. .
It would be lovely if these problems were sorted .

Lovely place
This place looks much nicer and bigger than in the photos, it was really nice. The outdoor space is great too. I did have some issues with getting the heating to work which was a downside, as only had one heater to keep us warm there as a replacement to the heating not being on, but the stay itself was lovely. I had accidentally left a bag of stuff there after our stay, which I didn't realise until hours after checking out. The owner was easy to reach and kindly assisted me with sorting to get it back. Great information and communication from the owner. The location is good, it's in a quiet residential area but the Beamish Museum is literally a few minutes up the road and shops are nearby too.
A clean, tidy and well-serviced 2 bedroom apartment close to the Beamish Museum and to Chester-le-Street (where we watched international cricket at Riverside). Andy the owner was communicative and helpful with directions and pub/restaurant recommendations. Highly recommended if you want somewhere convenient combined with the flexibility and budget of self-catering. Definitely recommended.
Andy was very helpful. It was very easy to deal with him and he even recommended an Italian which I unfortunately did not get chance to try. Everything you need is available and I will book again. Thanks for a good visit
The apartment is in a fantastic spot for visiting the beamish museum which is what we were there for and being not a lot more than 2 night at a premier inn for the whole weekend but having the benefit of a full apartment rather than a couple of rooms or trying to work a single family room this was fantastic! Our bed wasn’t as comfy as we’d like but we have literally just bought a new mattress at home so that can be forgiven!
Exactly as described, well thought out, excellent condition and very clean. Milk, tea, coffee, even dishwasher tablets were all provided. Everything for a relaxing break.
The Fairways has to be up there in one of the best places i have stayed in. The rooms were very well decorated,very very clean and so spacious. so much thought was put in to making our stay a very enjoyable experience,with little personal touches like milk in the fridge for when you arrived.I will definitly be staying here again and would recommend The Fairways to everyone. Exactly what we needed. A self-catering apartment for a family of four to stay for a couple of nights, while visiting friends and family. Well decorated and appointed. Recommended for a short break in the area
Excellent 2 bed apartment which was ideal for a home from home for business, especially as I had 2 different colleagues staying with me on 2 of the nights so it was excellent value too. There was everything you needed to make your stay as comfortable as possible, including the big fluffy towels and as I was able to bring my own supplies I didn't overeat at an expensive restaurant chain either. I would definitely stay again.
Beautifully decorated apartment with everything we neede for a two night stay, even tea/coffee and fresh milk on arrival which was a nice touch. Great location for exploring Beamish and surrounding area. Very helpful host too.
Stayed for two nights with two other friends. We all said how lovely and clean, well equipped the apartment was. Very comfortable beds. Very close to Beamish and Durham.

Found this apartment clean, comfortable and convenient for us to visit Beamish Museum. It was a home from home, would definitely recommend it and would stay here again.
We discovered The Fairways at West Pelton (12 mins drive from Durham) by accident. We did not get suitable accommodation at Durham, and our booking site showed us this option.
#7, at The Fairways is a hidden gem. It’s a very well appointed, aesthetic apartment. The drawing room has stunning views of the hills, forest and a golf course. The bathroom and the kitchen are very well equipped, a complete delight for people who prefer self-catering. The Wifi blazes and we had satellite television too.
The owner of the property, Andrew is extremely helpful and responsive.
Would love to go back.
