"Our stay was lovely as were the rooms and facility. We enjoyed drinks in the library, walks on the grounds, and great food in Darby’s Tavern. We did encounter a few hiccups in service. The morning front desk attendant was a bit unpleasant as was one of the waitstaff in the Tavern. However, we spent several hours in the Tavern watching football and being taken care of by the most exceptional young woman Crystal. She is a treasure! "Beautiful Victorian home. Lovely rooms. Very nice grounds and a quaint town."

"The stay at Best Western is always good. However, this is the second visit where there were no dollies to take your luggage to the room. Therefore several trips were needed to get things from the car to the room. Also, the hotel doesn't use trash bags in the trashcans inside of the rooms. They said it was done on purpose, which I guess is their decision. It could cause a mess, especially if you have a child in diapers/pullups. Otherwise the room was satisfactory as always. "

"After our 2hr drive, it was a welcomed respite! Our stay was mid-week, so it was lovely to have a quiet stay in the first floor two room suite. We enjoyed excellent wine and jazz playing softly in the background. John made thee BEST pancakes I've EVER had. Our family felt welcome and at home. Would absolutely recommend & return again!"
