"Third time staying here to make life convenient for youth sports and having a family pet -- cannot complain at all. For the price one pays you would think it would be dirty, or have bugs, or lack towels, etc, etc....but have never had an issue staying there. We've been lucky in that when we do stay we feel like we are one of maybe 4 or 5 there at the time -- so it is always quiet. "My wife and I spent our anniversary at Shinola. The staff went above and beyond to make our time there special. We received champagne upon check-in. We also were brought a complementary bottle of wine! We also realized we wanted a room with a tub and when we inquired about the front desk helped us get an awesome room with an incredible view of Woodward and a tub. This was our 3rd stay at Shinola and we loved every second! "

"Pricing is ok compared to other hotels in the area. The $10 parking fee is ridiculous, especially condiering the condition of the parking lot! Set up makes it a bit difficult to manage entering & exiting with luggage carts. No breakfast but we appreciate the ability to get a room with an actual closing door for the 1 bedroom suites. Kitchens is amply set up & usually has everything we need! We stay here often as the pros definitely out weigh any cons. Rooms are always clean & comfortable. "
