This hotel is only convenient for 1 night if your going on a cruise. But absolutely disgusting if your on floor 3 and 4 ask for a fan as its stupidly hot. The beds are rock hard. Couldnt open my window as the fan from McDonald's was on 24/7 also had builders outside my window mentioned it to front of desk and they where like well should of asked to move to the other side. Really terrible apologies. And a black hair in my bed. Ibis BUDGET for a reason. Other customers that were staying were complaining. The property needs a refurb. £10 for kettle and tea and coffee just go to McDonald's next door get wholw breakfast for £10 i asked for hairdryer through the call reception and no answer. Not worth it. Go to to ibis across the road.

Ok sized rooms not sure about the shower and sink in the room. Deco abit tired but has everything you need. Scaffolding spoilt the view from the window that also didn’t open and was far too hot in the room. Had problems opening the door with key cards took a while to get in.

Staff was great (friendly and very helpful) property was not. There was broken furniture / shelves / etc… room smelled odd - no air conditioning - room hot and stuffy - breakfast disappointing

Very basic hotel, knew it was budget, but this is very basic. They never even had room to store our luggage for us when we arrived, so we just left it at sister hotel, staff never offered this as an option they just smirked and told us to wait all day in the scabby lobby for our room to be ready... eh no thanks!

Location, location location. You pay for location not comfort. It really is a big scam calling this IBIS. It is a cheap, cheap hotel you pay thru the nose for.

The hotel was ok, the shower was good and the bed was comfortable. You have to pay for tea and coffee and a £10 deposit for a kettle, i know it's a budget hotel but i think you should get that within the price and be in the room regardless. There is no fridge in the room and only 1 plug socket that wasn't near the mirror. Hotel is near southampton theatre 10mins walk away and shopping centre 15mins walk. Has food places around. I won't be staying at this hotel again.

Stayed here before going on a cruise from Mayflower terminal. We were able to walk to cruise terminal from hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

This is definitely a budget hotel but unfortunately the price is not budget! I would have no problem staying here had I not paid £125 for one night. The price is far too high considering you are pretty much only getting a bed, shower and towel. Budget is fine...when the price matches. If you can afford to, I would fork out the extra money to stay somewhere nicer- you aren't getting a good deal here!

We really enjoyed the hotel for the most part. We were somewhat disappointed with rhe pillows, which were thin lumpy and only 2 were available. There were 2 thin towels and no face cloths.

OK for an overnight before boarding a cruise ship. Big plus is walking distance to National Express Bus from London Heathrow. Also very close (by taxi to cruise ship terminal). Very friendly staff and accommodating. They let us into our room early which we appreciated, and didn’t stick with some arbitrary “check-in time.” Rooms are small and b-a-s-i-c. Walk to at least three places for dinner and breakfast is at the hotel and included. Nothing fancy, but OK. We’d stay here again if we ever sail out of Southampton again.
