"A stunning place! The bar/restaurant and pool area are truly breathtaking and have been done to a very high standard. The staff were all fantastic and the food was generally good. There is lots to explore locally including the free waterfalls you can access from the hotel, a bigger waterfall further down the hill which id definitely recommend and Marino Ballena National park. "I loved being in the jungle staying in a bus with ensuite bathroom and kitchen. The 10-minute walk to the beach was not strenuous and I virtually had that part of the beach to myself. There was a nice pool on the premises. I enjoyed the homey atmosphere and feeling like I was part of the family."

"This hotel was beautiful, the room was large with a lovely king size 4 poster bed. We had a great view of the sunset every night from our patio or from the spectacular infiniti pool. We also enjoyed dinner at the hotel one night and the food was very good. The included breakfast was prepared fresh to order. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. I wish we would have stayed longer! "

The Tranquilo Lodge - All meals included

"Amazing stay! We came here for our honeymoon, and it was the perfect choice. One of the owners of the lodge, Sebastien, even picked us up and dropped us off at the airport himself. We were really impressed with this level of service! He and his partner, Christophe, were always so kind to us. Christophe even went above and beyond to help us get money back when we encountered a scam off of the resort. All of our meals were incredible! It was really fun to be surprised at each meal with what was being served, and we never had anything we didn’t like. They were very helpful in making sure we had everything we needed for our excursions and even walked us to the beach to make sure we got one the right boat. One of our favorite experiences was walking to the beach with the lodge dog- Oro! Our first walk down, he was our guide! It was very impressive and adorable. The honeymoon suite was amazing! It is off on its own, so you get a little extra privacy. The views are amazing too. We would love to come back here again one day and would recommend this spot wholeheartedly. "
