"Lovely hotel, in good central village location. Lots of shops, pubs etc nearby. Had a beautiful room with four poster bed. However, mattress was very soft and sagged in the middle, which made for an uncomfortable night. Advertised as kingsize but was really a double. Apart from that room very clean. Good feather pillows too. Restaurant food - very small portions but delicious, although burger dry and hard. Good breakfast selection, but not quite hot enough. Service excellent."

"This is a nice hotel, the staff were really nice and accommodating. The property is a little dated though and corridor carpets could do with an upgrade. The Spa area I understand is being refurbished soon too, so that's good. I would stay here again. "
