"We booked last minute due to having to cancel our trip into France because they closed the station due to finding an unexploded bomb from WWII. With that being said it was our first time staying in a hostel and we were pleasantly surprised how nice it was. The rooms are small of course if you are traveling with lots of luggage which we were. "Stayed here as a solo female traveler. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I thought this place wasnt that busy, but everyone is at the WomBar! Highly recommended you head down there to socialize. The only issue I had was a weird smell in the bathroom. I'm not sure if that was because I had messy roommates or if there was another issue."

"The family room was exactly as pictured on the website, practical with a very quirky toilet but overall very good. The area was the best part because you could walk to many sights and very easy to take the underground. We walked to trafalgar, soho, covent garden, China town and over the bridge to the London eye, Big Ben and Churchill War Rooms and st James park. The location was superb! We would definitely stay again!"
