"For an older lodge, this place is great. Seemingly recent updates to rooms. Great water views. **Bed was less than desireable, but i have a tempurpedic mattress at home so i am a bit spoiled. Very Hospitable. Dog friendly, no children under 12. Visited in off season so very quiet on the week nights. Door county is a unique place. "This hotel goes above and beyond for customers traveling with dogs! There is a large outdoor dog park, with free dog waste bags, and lots of grass for walks. There is a mudroom just off the dog park, with a bathtub, shampoo and towels to clean your dog before coming inside. In the room, there is a big dog bed and a bin full of extrra towels, a sheet to cover the bed to keep it clean, a dog blanket, and a goodie bag filled with treats, more plastic bags and tennis balls! They even have paintings...
