Unfortunately, this hotel's only outstanding feature is it's location. The hotel itself has an air of neglect, and is very dirty. My friends had to ask to be moved from their room, due to the terrible smell. Our "deluxe" room was the same as all the others, except we had a dual aspect. The bathrooms were dated, with showers ranging from scalding hot to freezing cold water as you were trying to shower.
The towels were unbelievably hard, with the capacity to take off a layer of skin should you decide to rub yourself down with them!
Each shower had the most disgustingly dirty plastic mat inside, which, when removed, revealed a level of grime, scum and other people's hairs never seen before!
We stayed 3 nights, during which time our rooms were not cleaned, bedding/towels not changed and not even the toilet bins were emptied.
Breakfast was 'basic', with no fruit juice or cereal. The hot water urn wasn't turned on, so tea had to be brought from reception.
The hotel's 3 kittens were allowed to roam all over the dining room chairs/tables etc
But the main disappointment for us was the LACK OF A POOL - and was the main reason we had booked this particular hotel. Apparently there was a pool, but this is now just a slab of concrete on a very rocky shoreline. There are steps into the sea, but they are too low, so are underwater most of the time and unusable.
