Unfortunately, the builders opposite decided to start work with a digger and heavy roller before 8 a.m., so our stay wasn't exactly peaceful. This was not the owner's fault, I should add. The pod was large and comfortable, but it really needs Starlink, as we couldn't use the internet on our phones. Some might find this acceptable, but others might not. Not being able to watch TV...

"We were there for a 2 night stay at the end of August. The hotel is very well taken care of & it is in a quiet lovely location. It’s beautiful inside too. Rooms are cozy, clean , quiet, & decorated very nicely. The food & service in dining room is amazing! The free breakfast is plentiful, delicious, & fresh. It is a nice touch. "

"The setup is very good; the surrounding area, beaches, and Hermit's Castle are why we booked here for two nights. Unfortunately, the builders opposite decided to start work with a digger and heavy roller before 8 a.m., so our stay wasn't exactly peaceful. This was not the owner's fault, I should add. The pod was large and comfortable, but it really needs Starlink, as we couldn't use the internet on our phones. Some might find this acceptable, but others might not. Not being able to watch TV was disappointing for the price we paid. Both nights were the same. Don't let that put you off; I'm sure the groundworks are now finished, and some people don't mind not having TVs. We walked for miles, drove to other beaches, and enjoyed the area, and we recommend it to everyone. It won't put us off visiting their other site of pods on the east side of the NC500 next year"

Stay at Kylesku, it’s great!

"We had a lovely stay at Kylesku. Our room was compact, but had everything we needed. The view of the loch was amazing! The staff were super friendly and very helpful. They gave us a number of recommendations for the local area which were all great. Had dinner in the restaurant twice and the food was excellent. Very fresh, well prepared seafood, with an absolutely incredible view!"

"Wonderful! Our hosts were welcoming and friendly. The chef was both talented and creative. The location was close to the main road but far enough away to be an oasis of tranquility and restorative after a long drive. The gardens were delightful and the locality was pure highland rugged beauty. "
