"We stayed in a garden room which was peaceful. Staff was attentive to our every need and very friendly. Whiskey Bar offered a nice place to relax before dinner out. Breakfast in the morning provided a good start to the day. Would highly recommend a stay here."

The pool changing room area was a bit dirty and very awkward changing around kids swimming lessons and parents in the changing rooms but for the price we paid it was ok."

"We were desperate for accommodation in Inverness and couldn't find anything available so we ended up in Strathpeffer. The hotel is old, reasonably clean, fairly quiet and comfortable enough. The breakfast was great, service was faultless. We also had dinner there one night and it was excellent. Was it worth £90 per night???"

"This is overall a very nice hotel, and the room was very comfortable. My gripe is with the wi-fi. It’s hopeless. Disconnects and reconnects constantly, and is incredibly slow. I don’t actually understand how they can make it this bad. You’d have to start with a dial-up modem, but at least that might have a stable connection. "
