"My second time staying at this property. Very spacious throughout and most rooms have a balcony/terrace. Room is traditional German finish with dated toilet fittings which are fully functional. Breakfast is continental with fresh brew coffee and freshly prepared eggs as additional options. Nice hillside location with views across the village and valley beyond. Staff very helpful as I was late arriving but key was waiting for me as I was a returning customer."

Be prepared to pack lightly because there are no elevators on the property, so you will have to carry your baggage up the steep stairs. But, No provision to make a coffee in the room or on the premises was annoying as it was very difficult to find anything open in the village to get a coffee. Shower head was stable and water flooded the floor. Also, most of the people in the hotel were elderly and getting over a steep bath to have a shower is a health hazard."
