"Staff are lovely and the building has some nice old touches. The bar area and restaurant are nice but the rooms although clean could do with some updating. I stayed ina standard room wich was functional and cleanly decorated but the bathroom was a little dated. I would stay again though."

"Didn’t like the fact that dogs are allowed to stay in a 4* hotel especially when they’re wet the smell was awful. If I had known this I would not have booked it. Also not happy that the hotel tried to charge me again for evening dinner when I had already paid ! The staff could be a bit more cheery. "

"The hotel is fine and the location suited us. It was frustrating that when we booked there was very limited possibility for reserving a meal. I was surprised they didn't keep a few tables for residents. But there's plenty locally and it wasn't an issue. Friendly staff, plentiful parking, clean, warm. All good. "
