"Even though the thermal pool was closed for maintenance, we had an amazing time and made the most out of what the hotel had to offer."

"Friendly staff, especially after a few days in the hotel. Great advice for restaurants. Very clean and excellent location. Incredible views and hikes just outside of the hotel. Dining options around holidays were limited and service was lacking. Perhaps it was due to holidays, but the special dinner was expensive and really did not match our expectations, or depart far from breakfast (which is quite nice). Excellent spa and a good value massages."

"Although this was more than walking distance from city of Ponta Delgada it still was close enough to drive, bus, etc. There were shopping and dining options in and near the hotel. Staff at front desk and bar were great, and we enjoyed it here for our last day before our flight, and drove to city after check out before we flew home in the afternoon."

"Pros: Friendly staff and great service. Property is within easy walking distance of restaurants, stores, and the marina. Convenient, inexpensive parking garage. Cons: Our rooms were warm (the A/C is limited - the case in many European hotels). We left the slider open at night and the area is very noisy well into the morning."
