Well situated right in the old town centre. It would be great if the staff could help guests with arranging luggage transports by the post office - a confusing chore, which all hotels are familiar with, but they didn't seem to know how to help. But the staff is friendly and English speaking, which is a great help.

Loved everything just no onsite parking
We loved everything about this hotel. The front desk was wonderful, the hotel is super charming. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. And the best part is that is right next to the Cathedral. The only thing I wish is that Hotel.com would have been more accurate about the parking situation. The hotel does not have on-site parking because it’s located in the heart of the historic center (a block from the cathedral which is spectacular). The front desk reception apologized for the confusion and was very helpful but says she is constantly having to tell the guest who call to check in asking where to park that they do not have parking. Other than the parking issue, the hotel is lovely and just a short 7 min walk from the closest parking lot (Interparking Plaza de Galicia) but it’s still a distance from the hotel. If staying for a day or two, bring just a backpack and/or small carrying. A medium size or more than that may be difficult to walk with but doable.

Beds were comfortable and rooms clean. The place was horribly musty and dusty. Some staff were friendly and helpful, others didn’t care. Lugging your own suitcases up and down two flights of very steep stairs wasn’t ideal. The town still uses its clock tower every 15 minutes to alert people of the time so be warned you can hear it and it kept us awake. Lord knows why when everyone has a watch or phone these days. It’s a cool historic thing, but maybe consider only doing it during daylight hours. Can also hear music from nearby nightclubs and we were told that we were in the quietest room so can’t imagine what noise is like from other rooms. The stone walls in the rooms and overall decor is rustic and nice. Overall a pretty average stay even for the price point.

First the good news. Very convenient location one minute from the cathedral. Room was clean and adequate. Bad news. Touring through Spain for three weeks, this room was the most expensive and the smallest. Check in was a disaster. Briefing said check in was from 2 pm. Arrived at 4 to find the property was locked up. Then read the special instructions which said it was manned only to 3. Should have been made clear. With difficulty found a phone number and sent the code to get in. However it came by WhatsApp which I do not usually use. More problems but we eventually got in. Briefing said there was a bar. No, not a bar. Said there was room service. No as well. Also said parking was 10 Euros a day. I finished up paying 33 for less than two days parking. So if you stay here, be prepared for some disappointments.
