There were a few let downs but we did not argue/complain as the cost was relatively cheap and we are generally easy going people. Im afraid the worst bit for us was the beds & pillows - they were extremely firm and did not give a good night sleep at all. I hate to say but towards the end of the holiday, I dreaded going to bed. "The greatest asset is the staff. They were endlessly helpful to me in working out all sorts of issues, especially about train travel in Spain. One negative for me: the sharply sloping ceilings in my room are hazardous to a tall person. I hit my head hard several times during my stay. Next time I would like a different style of room if they are available. "

"Excellent property. Only drawback would be you can hear upstairs neighbors. Moving chairs, doing laundry, people talking, even dogs crying. Lovely town, easily walkable. "

"Basic hotel convenient for an evening arrival on the ferry for those who don't want to drive far on the first night. Hotel overlooks open countryside to the town beyond. Rooms could do with better soundproofing, ours was just above open reception area and quite noisy and we could hear water pumping around all the time."
