"This property does all the right things for an enjoyable stay. Check in was easy and front desk provided maps and guidance of area as well as arranged our water taxi for early morning. "Great hotel. Very central, 5 mins from San Marco, but still quite secluded. We went for the junior suite which was lovely with an amazing view of the canals usually frequented by Gondolas. Lift was a little temperamental, so 3 floors a few times a day was a bit of a shin splint, but that was literally my only gripe. Free breakfast was basic but very welcome and sets you up for the day nicely. Budget for the city tax at the end of your stay. Water taxi is pricey but worth it to get back to the airport in good time and reception are more than happy to help."
