"We stayed 7 nights and it was wonderful. The food is good, the accommodations are very clean, ALL of the staff are super friendly and very helpful, even the taxi drivers are friendly and helpful. We used the same taxi driver (Kevin) for everything. All we had to do was call and he was there. Highly recommend Alaia hotel and if you go ask for Johan the bartender and tell him Danielle and Alan said hello."

"Prior to arriving the staff was very helpful with scheduling the local flights and supplying information on excursions and meal options. Upon arrival everything was easy and well organized. The pick up, boat ride and check in were all seamless. I would highly recommend for those looking for a quiet place to relax. The seaweed was a problem but they were providing a free shuttle to the opposite side of the island to get away from it. "

"New property, open only a few months. Directly on the beach, 45 minutes north of San Pedro. Away from the hustle and bustle, but still accessible. Plenty of drinking and dining choices in the vicinity. Ronna was a great hostess, going above and beyond to make sure my stay and birthday were enjoyable. I recommend to anyone looking for a laid back, quiet and relaxing time away from home."
