"The Edgewater is a very comfortable, clean, friendly property that is located conveniently in central Pismo. The property is old and well-used, but still beloved by many returning guests. The office staff is friendly and helpful. The particular room we were in had a rather loud heater that was not very efficient, so we had to keep it on during most of our visit during a January cold spell. "

You can hear every step the upstairs neighbors make. We were near the ice machine so that was also loud. Guest at the pool were loud. We could hear everybody walking by the door. Very noisy stay."

"It was a nice, updated room. Not too small. Although I really didn’t care for the parking lot. Paying that much for a room and then having to park on the street was a big CON. I also didn’t like how I could hear everything that was going on in the room upstairs above mine. Full on conversations. Made the night a little rough. Other than that, the location was convenient, and it was a decent place to stay for the night. "

"While I was super surprised upon arrival since I was expecting (based on the pictures posted) it to be directly on the pier, however it was super easy to get to the beach and shops/restaurants. The pictures that you see of the surrounding areas and even of the room are just a bit misleading though again, we enjoyed it and would stay here again for sure. Very clean, easily accessible, easy parking, friendly staff."

"Wasn’t informed until checkin about heating/AC situation. Very small tower heater and a standing up fan provided. Tower heater turned out to be plenty, but it would have been nice to know prior. Two person check in reserved, but 0 hand towels and only bare minimum towels provided. 2 washcloths and 2 towels. For 2 females… not enough. Owner was very polite and checkin in was easy. Made it a point to mention that the rooms were recently updated, Room was in great condition. Made minimum on linens...

Also needed more hand towels. We needed an ice maker or trays to make ice. We appreciated plenty of paper towels and zip lock bags. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and staying close to our family in two other lofts. "
