"My family were there during the 7.7 earthquake in Myanmar, when Bangkok got affected of the strong earthquake . Family said they were the first ones to be asked to go back to their hotel . "Despite being an old hotel the cleanliness and facilities are well maintained. There is however some slight damage (cracks here and there) from the recent earthquake. We travelled with a toddler so being next to a mall was super convenient. "

"This was my second stay at the resort and it can best be described as an "island" in a sea of chaos. There is no place to walk outside the resort but there is little reason to leave the resort so it is great for a brief stay while traveling via BKK. My first visit was amazing with great customer service but my second visit had some serious challenges. First was the shuttle service. Since it was my second time there, I was in the proper place at the proper time at BKK. The shuttle did not arrive. The very poor customer service happened when I arrived at the hotel after using a taxi to get to the property. (the taxi was paid for by the airport). The young lady at the check in counter was extremely rude and was basically calling me a liar. This, of course, escalated the situation unnecessarily. The young lady was not the typical polite and friendly Thai person and should not be in a frontline position. The rest of the staff was excellent but the unreliable shuttle and one bad apple is going to cause me to rethink my choice of stay on my next trip to Thailand. And I am frequent traveler to Thailand."

"Close to major shopping areas within walkable distance. Close to lots of food areas and restaurants. Our room was nice and comfortable just wish that they had laundry facilities with washers and dryers but they do have laundering services. Overall we enjoyed our stay and had fun at the pool. "
