"The room was great, clean and comfortable. Everything we were expecting, the only problem was the outside light for the outside walkway lit the room up way to much, need room darkening curtains, we hung towels over the curtains but we were not able to cove the whole window, also the window over the sink could use a shade I can’t sleep with a light on."

"Had a lovely stay at The Merchant hotel. We absolutely loved the fact that the rooms have a fireplace which we thoroughly enjoyed and took advantage of every morning and evening since it was cold out. We also enjoyed the fireplace in the lobby where we had our morning coffee and complimentary scones. They also bake chocolate chip cookies every afternoon.
