"Overall my 11 year old son and I had a good week in the SOWELL HOTELS Mont Blanc & Spa. The buffet breakfast and dinner were excellent with well-prepared food and plenty of choice. The room was comfortable and the staff very helpful. The main down-side is how worn and dated the room and all of the communal areas are. I'm not sure when it received it's 4* rating, but the property feels quite aged with bathroom furniture, doors and walls all very worn with visible damage."

Le Chalet est très agréable et très bien aménagé, la chambre N°7 est très confortable, une mise à disposition de tout l'équipement (cuisine, machine à laver...), des frigo avec des boissons et même des repas simples sont proposés. Le lendemain matin très bon accueil de Marine qui propose un petit déjeuner très complet et de qualité. La station des Contamines-Mont-joie est à 10 minutes. "Cozy hotel in the small town of Landry. Close to the slopes but you'll need to take the shuttle or train to Paisey or Bourg St Maurice. Very good restaurant downstairs so you don't have to leave for dinner after a long ski day. The foie gras was fantastic. The only thing keeping it from being 5 stars is no one is there to help you with the bags if you decided to try and travel without a car. "

"The location of the hotel is ideal. The food at the Atelier is acceptable. There is some good restaurants near by that makes a change of the hotel food. The ski shop is also the ski locker. After a day of ski there is always someone to take care of your boots. A great thing is that boots are not heated (air dried) and are dry for the next day. Customer service is great. Every issue is adressed. The view from the room is breathtaking."

"We stayed here for one short night before taking the train back to Lille. It's a 10-15 minute walk from the Bourg-Saint-Maurice train station - uphill on the way to the hotel! The staff were helpful and friendly, and we liked the aesthetic of the hotel. The wifi was not great, but that was not a huge issue for the night. The hotel restaurant was packed on Saturday night - advise making a reservation ahead of time if you can."
