"Excellent stay the night before an early morning EuroTunnel crossing. The hotel is very close to the terminal and we were there in 5 minutes. There was some issues with the car park as a lot of it was blocked off (installing electric car charging points) but the hotel staff told me where I could park instead which was very convenient. Service was excellent and the breakfast was better than I was expecting. I would definitely stay at this hotel again in the future. "

"The hotel was amazing and friendly staff. Our room was absolutely beautiful and big. We enjoyed all amenities and the happy hour on the hall area with lovely Christmas decorations. Great location in 2 minutes walking from the beautiful high street. Highly recommend for a break"

"Amazing stay from start to finsh. Room clean, comfortable and the veiw exceptional. Lovely balcony veiw and from the bed veiw too. Breakfast very good, great selection of fresh produce. Food in the Bar was exceptional too. Cant wait to visit again. "

"Loved our stay at The Gallivant and would definitely visit again! Due to the location of the hotel I think this is definitely more of a seasonal hotel, however this didn’t impact my opinion of it, the service was great, room was lovely and the food (both breakfast and dinner) was incredible! My only complaint is that they don’t have tea/coffee making facilities in the room, we were told that we could go to the bar for these however, they charge for them on your bill at the end of the stay which I think is very out of the norm!"
