"Initial look at the place was great, lived up to the hype. On the beach, decent size rooms, large open living space with kitchen and dining. Everything you’d want for a weekend getaway. Unfortunately as great as the surroundings were, the beds were very uncomfortable, 6 out of the 8 woke up with aches and pains. Mattresses clearly past their used by dates. "This is a lovely place to stay. Stuart greeted us on arrival and the Loft was warm and cosy with everything we needed including a basket of treats and eggs for breakfast. There are lovely views of the grounds and countryside. Nice walks from the property and Rye is close by car. Would thoroughly recommend. "
