we liked all the fun activities/shows, overall daily entertainment. The staff were on point and nice. We disliked the fact that the pools close too early by 6 PM.

This place is not worth so much money. Some of the staff were not nice!!!! The food was not all that great and u have about 4 other restaurants that u can eat from but unfortunately u have to make a reservation in order to eat from there and we were not aware of that. I would definitely not go back there.

I liked the wide variety of food, i expected more activities on the compound such as sauna etc., i disliked that our room was very far from the check in area and no one was available to take us there. We got lost for a while before finding it.

Not a lot of dining options to choose from, after the buffet closes at 830pm, there are no other options. The steak restaurant, service was rushed and food was overcooked. We had to leave the resort to get food on some days. Sometimes staff not always as friendly. I love some of the shows the presented. Lastly, we had cockroaches in our room.

Most of the staff, servers, bartenders, and children’s staff were great. Very attentive, interactive, and enjoyable to be around. The grounds staff and the maintenance workers cared less about being polite. This was more of a party hotel vice a family friendly hotel in my opinion. Lots of weed (I know it’s legal there) and parties each day. Picked this place because of the family atmosphere it showed online but was anything but to me. Overall had a good time with the family but won’t be coming back to this hotel again

I would like to make a complaint because my first night at the RIU was horrible. First it took them a long time to get my room ready from the time i checked in. But, thank god one of my family members' room was already so i had to take my suitcase to their room and change clothes. So I could make all the events we had planned. So, when i was swimming i went to get my suitcase out of there room and when to check in my room. When I got to my room it was a disaster. The room had a bad smell in it and it was not clean at all. The bedding had stains on them and the trash can was still in them and I had just come into the room so it was not my trash. The counter under the tv was dirty to the point I didn't want to sit anything on it. So I went into the bathroom to take a shower and the handle to open the shower door was broken and the seal to the top of the shower was broken. At this point I decided to go down stairs and talk to the front desk about removing me from the room. When I got down there I asked to speak with a manager and was told that the manager was in a meeting , after which I was also told there was no room available for me to change to. So after being there going back and forth with them for an hour, finally somebody can and said they had another room available. so they told me to go grab my suitcase out of the room and go to the new room. So I went up to the old room and grabbed my stuff and when I got to the new room my key didn't work. So I had to take my heavy

Clean, nice room, feels safe, nice dining options but some dining staffs can be a bit annoying, but maybe its the pressure of serving so many customers. Overall great experience

The food was awful and the service wasn’t much better. We ended our trip with Riu early and went to Half Moon. Much better
