Our room had an amazing view of Lake Rotorua. The area is nice and quiet and relaxing. The complementary breakfast was very delicious. Parking was okay, but the driveway was very narrow and only one lane. Overall highly recommended if you really want to stay away from the tourists.

Amazing couple running this lodge. So friendly and welcoming. The lodge itself is so amazing and relaxing. Beautiful views and quiet away from the main strip of tourism. This spot is quite literally the best. It was such a good place to rest our feet after a long day of travel.

Rooms are a little dated if you're comparing to inner city 5 star hotels, but it didn't bother us at all as it's what's outside the windows that captured our attention! We loved the serene surroundings and the lodge was absolutely gorgeous as we were the only ones booked in the night we had the run of the lodge and in the morning we had a beautiful cooked breakfast with a stunning view what more could you ask for as well the lodge and our room and surrounding areas were perfect very well kept grounds and very clean we would definitely stay here again if we are ever in Rototua again

On the waterfront.
What a lovely find. Right on lake Rotorua with a private beach and jetty, this was an exceptional, though short, stay. Our host was charming. Fantastic breakfast and a great nights sleep in a very comfortable bed. In places, the property looked a little tired but overall, a real treat.
