"When my wife booked this hotel for me we both saw the pictures they posted and it looked beautiful! When i got there i was sent to a building across the street. I entered the building and straight away did not like what i saw. None the less i went to the room. It was NOTHING like the advertised pictures and if i had seen this i would no way have stayed here. "I would definitely stay here again. Very, very clean facilities. It looks like it has recently been renovated. Rooms were comfortable. A large kitchen and dining area, as well as a large game room. It was close enough to walk to town. I highly recommend staying here. "

"Alpenhotel Allgau has a good location in Schwangau, close to the Neuschwanstein Castle, Hohenschwangau Castle, Museum of the Bavarian kings. The rooms were small and the beds were rather hard. The breakfast was a essentially a continental breakfast of rolls and coffee. The signage is poor and the entrance is hard to spot. Check in was easy but checkout was difficult because their credit card processing machine didn't work and had to be re-started.I wouldn't stay there again but rather will plan...

"The view to the lake it’s beautiful. The apartment is ok. I found many spiders in the apartment, balcony and hall. There was no dish sponge, hand soap and just a little toilet paper. I wish there was a microwave. I kept bumping my head on the ceiling every time I was going to sit on the sofa. I really liked that there was plenty storage space. Cozy Bavarian Experience

"This hotel was like staying with your favorite Bavarian auntie. The common areas were full of history about the hotel. The balcony is open for guest to sit and enjoy the views. The decor was cozy and charming and will always be part of my memories of this trip. Staff was great, breakfast was great. They also had parking. "

Villa Mittermeier Hotellerie & Restaurant

"Excellent location just steps away from walled city of Rothenburg. Lift to rooms also made it much easier with our luggages. Dinner onsite was delicious with interesting fusion flavours. Very comfortable room. Only downside was the weak water pressure. "

Lovely stay

"Great hotel. Staff were friendly, room modern, large and clean. Food, service and ambience in the restaurant also great. Only disappointment was the city. I was hoping for a bit more life and places to visit. But it was a Sunday so maybe lots of places were shut."

I had an excellent stay at Rugs Hotel Augsburg

"I had an excellent stay at Rugs Hotel Augsburg. Due to a convention going on in Munich, and drastically upcharged hotel rooms, I decided to stay in Augsburg and commute to Munich by train on the days I wanted. The train was only 30 minutes from Augsburg to Munich. The Rugs Hotel is located right next to Augsburg HBF so it was easy to hop on and off of the train and walk to the hotel. The place was clean, quiet and comfortable. Absolutely no complaints."

"Hotel Rappen is in a good location with easy parking. The old city wall is about one block away. The hotel also has a restaurant which is very convenient. Rooms were clean and the breakfast selection and quality was excellent. "
