"I stayed here with a group of friends wile visiting Japan for my birthday and this was one of my favorite places! The staff is incredible and the space felt like a home. We were all able to comfortably sleep and unwind in the space in between our adventures. They offer hot tea and sake along with toiletries downstairs. "We had a great stay. We stayed in a double room on the 5th floor. Loved the rooftop bar. There was a vibe... nice mellow music, great views, drinks and small plate appetizers. It was a great way to end the night. Breakfast was really good. We had an earlier morning tour and the restaurant packages breakfast to go for us, which was very sweet and unexpected of them. The room was clean. Toliet seats were heated. There is a laundry room onsite. The staff was friendly. The hotel was a 10 min walk to Gion, so very convenient. Overall great stay. Would recommend."
