Good base for exploring
Quick stop off holiday, this accommodation was convenient with good location for transport links and parking. Sleeping arrangement are basic but good as a base. Breakfast was good, check-in in via Guesthouse Aurora which isn't very clear on booking. All in all a good place if you just want a sleep base for exploring

Good for a quick trip indeed. Had some difficulties with parking and getting inside my room with the key. They did help fix it, but was still an annoyance. Clean, kind staff, and would go back with earplugs since on bottom level can hear street noise.

We booked a four-beds room, very small. The shared washroom is very small too, and it's for the whole floor. Noisy surrounding. To have the breakfast we had to walk pass two buildings to get into the basement of another building where their dining room was, the dining room was very small for so many people from the different buildings. Overall it was not a good experience.

We were literally given a basement room, that is on both sides it was below grade level. I did not expect it. On the check in raining day, we have to walk with our luggage on an emergency exit platform, where the rain water gave us a good shower due to incomplete downspout. Sulphur smell was bothering too.

Parking is free but very rare to find. The rooms were very basic and at street level with the heads of the beds against the window which was rather hard to stop sunlight getting in (21h of sunlight, 3 hours of dusk at best). So perhaps thicker curtains would be helpful. Breakfast was really good and had a large selection. Our kitchen came with utensils and plates. The bathroom was small but got the job done. However i didnt like that the back door was always open and had workers doing jobs in the backyard. Overall its a beautiful city and you can easily walk to the downtown core in 10 mins. Nice place to stay if you just need somewhere to sleep and place all your luggage. My girlfriend and i enjoyed our stay here!

Very nice. People were helpful and friendly.
The room was clean. Very simple accommodations with a bed and table/desk and chair. If you want a place to sleep, it does the trick. Not any space for lounging. Kitchen in Andrea House was sparse, almost as if a deterrent for cooking. A quick heat up would have been nice; we ended up heating the entire oven for making toast. With that, the morning breakfast at the Aurora house location was great. Both the communal bathroom and kitchen were clean:). Location was great… quick walk to BSI and many establishments. Would definitely stay again.

Although check in could be a tad confusing, overall we really enjoyed this property. Location excellent- good restaurants, Rainbow Street just 5 mins walk, bus stop 8 about 3 mins walk. Would love to have coffee in the room but I think this may be an American luxury so it’s understandable. We had the 3rd level which had two twins and one full size bed. It was perfect for a family. Nice to have a small kitchen and fridge. We can’t wait to get back to Iceland and would certainly stay here again.
