"We travel between Colorado and Texas a lot. We cut the drive in to two days and spend the night somewhere in the middle. This is the first time to stop for the night in Raton. This will be our regular stop from now on as we loved the motel. Restaurant on site. Food was good. Dog friendly. Clean and comfortable. "

"Room not maintained. Light bulbs out, light fixtures unplugged, tub drain stopped up, doors would not close or open without extra effort or not at all. Refrigerator never cooled down even after 12 hours. On a good note bed was very comfy and a/c worked great with minimal noise!! Staff was very helpful in making things better. "
